Description

A current challenge within education is maintaining and improving standards alongside a shrinking budget. School leaders in all sectors need to think creatively around workforce deployment by evaluating current teaching and learning and support structures.

By attending this course you will have the opportunity to reflect on the structure of your timetable and teaching and support staff structures in order to ascertain whether they are “future proofed” and financially sustainable into the future. You will then learn how to formulate an internal personnel action plan and consider the HR implications and “pitfalls” to avoid.

On this course, delegates will:

  • Learn how to analyse the essential elements of effective senior leadership, teaching and support staff structures to facilitate maintaining and improving quality standards.
  • Reflect on best practice examples of cost effective teaching and support staff structures.
  • Using your own school information, reflect on your timetable and staffing structures in order to assess where change needs to take place.
  • Learn how to develop an internal personnel action plan.
  • Spend valuable time developing a more creative deployment plan to take back to school.

Do I need my membership number to book?

Yes. If you are booking a member place you will be required to enter the correct membership number. You can find your membership number by phoning membership on 0300 3030333 option 2.

Is my booking transferrable?

Bookings may only be transferred at the discretion of the Professional Development team. These will need to be made in writing to events@naht.org.uk before the event. Transfers and cancellations may be subject to a charge.

Cancellation fees:

Within 20 working days - 25% charge

Within 10 working days - 50% charge

Within 5 working days - 75% charge

Within 2 working days - 100% charge

Can I update my registration information?

Any updates to your booking must be made in writing to the Professional Development team at events@naht.org.uk

Does the name on the booking need to match the attendee?

The names of each individual attendee must be entered during the booking process along with a unique email address for each attendee as this will be used for the final confirmation.
