For healthcare professionals such as staff working in GPs, pharmacies, sexual health clinics and school nurses. It is also aimed at those who are C-Card trained.
This fast paced half day training uses short scenes of drama and discussion to develop participant’s empathy and knowledge of issues that affect young people’s sexual health. The training supports participants to reflect on and develop their communication skills and to feel more confident communicating with young people. Please note that attendance can be used as evidence when completing the Young People Friendly Toolkit. Please note this training is very similar to the previously delivered receptionists’ training but for a wider audience. Participants may benefit from attending Level 1 Sex and Relationships but this is not a pre-course requirement.
