Progress Test Workshop on Myeloid and Lymphoid Disorders
Venue: Lee Hall, Wolfson College, Cambridge
Date: 30th of June 2025
Organised by: European Hematology Association (EHA) Exam Curriculum Committee
Progress Test Workshop on Myeloid and Lymphoid Disorders brings together educators, examiners, and trainees to collaboratively refine and expand the Progress Test experience in the areas of myeloid and lymphoid disorders. The day will include interactive sessions aimed at developing high-quality, curriculum-aligned multiple-choice questions (MCQs) that assess applied knowledge in haematology across a range of difficulty levels.
Participants will work in groups, guided by experts in assessment and haematological education, to design and critique clinical vignettes, ensure content validity, and calibrate question difficulty using EHA blueprints.
Key Themes:
- Diagnostic and therapeutic approaches to AML, MDS, MPN, lymphomas, and CLL
- Integration of molecular and genomic advances in clinical assessment
- Constructing context-rich scenarios that test reasoning, not recall
The workshop is ideally suited for haematology trainees who are nearing the end of their training or preparing to sit their final exams, including Part 2 of the FRCPath. Attendance will also support the continued development of the EHA Progress Test — a formative assessment tool used throughout Europe.
