EHCVS Building Community Resilience Training Session

EHCVS is excited to be working with Hounslow Council’s Safer Communities Team to assist residents in Hounslow to identify reoccurring incidents that impact their community and develop creative initiatives to prevent these. We want to engage individuals and communities that are open to collaborative, cross-community, action to tackle common issues.

Join EHCVS as we explore the concept of community resilience and what this means in real terms for you. In this session, you will:

• Gain an understanding of Hounslow Council’s Safer Communities initiative

• Gain an understanding of how to build resilience in your community through points like:

• Communication
• Network Building
• Preparedness

• Learn some practical steps you can take to develop community links in your immediate area and beyond in your ward

• Work collaboratively to identify key issues that impact safety in your area

This session is a fantastic opportunity to connect with others in your local area and discuss issues that impact upon your feeling of safety.
