Medina Publishing, along with award-winning children's author, Peter J. Murray are offering this exciting book presention at The Riverside Centre, Newport on Tuesday 10th June 2025 from 1.30- 3pm.
This event takes place during the same week as authors will be going into local schools and we don't want EHE children to miss out on this theatrical presentation designed to inspire reading and enthuse young people to pick up a book and read for pleasure. It's a fun-filled hour both for children and accompanying adults.
Peter J. Murray's best-selling MOKEE JOE series has recently been re-published and re-launched after 20 years of success. The books are now more popular than ever!
The presentation is aimed at 7-13 year olds.
The performance will last for an hour with a chance to meet the author. You will have the opportunity to purchase a signed copy of a MOKEE JOE book at the end.
Please feel free to bring a snack and a drink to enjoy on the site at the conclusion of the presentation.

Yes, there is a car park on site. You will need to register your car registration plate at Reception when you arrive.
The Mokee Joe series and presentation are aimed at this aged audience. However, parents can attend with younger or older children if they feel the books would be suitable for their child. Children of all ages should be supervised by an accompanying adult.
Peter J. Murray (and his wife 'Kath with a K') will be very happy to sell you a book after the presentation. Please bring cash. Change will be available.
