EHOD 2025 - Carnegie Oldpark Library 11:15am - 12:15pm

Over a century ago, the Scottish-American steel magnate and philanthropist Andrew Carnegie gifted over 2,500 libraries across the English-speaking world with 66 being built on the island of Ireland. Oldpark Library, found in the Lower Oldpark area, was the first of three libraries built by the Belfast Corporation in 1906 and served as a library until it closed in 2010.
