Event Details

Eisai has organised a symposium entitled "Experimental and Clinical aspects of Down's Syndrome" on 15th March 2013 at UCL, Gower Street, London.

The aim of the symposium is to enhance knowledge and understanding of Down's syndrome.  It will have speakers who will cover a broad range of topics from a carer's viewpoint through to clinical management of this syndrome.

Eisai have held annual symposia that have focussed on neurological diseases including Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimer's disease and cognition therapies, as well as general topics such as ageing and structural biology. The symposia have been open and free to attendees and aim to educate, stimulate new thinking and provoke healthy discussion amongst the attendees and speakers.

We are delighted to announce the following confirmed speakers for 2013:

  • Elizabeth Fisher (Institute of Neurology, UCL)
  • John Hardy (Institute of Neurology, UCL)
  • Anthony Holland (Cambridge)
  • Annette Karmiloff-Smith (Birkbeck)
  • Rick Livesey (Gurdon Institute, Cambridge)

The Eisai Symposium will take place in the Gustave Tuck Lecture Theatre at UCL, and will be followed by a drinks reception when the symposium ends at 16:15.  We hope to see you there.

Please forward this invitation to any of your colleagues that may be interested in attending.
