About this event
Eka Earth is a community-first climate education company that brings together students, young people, and professionals under one umbrella to inspire the next generation of sustainability leaders — by making climate action personal, practical, and participatory.
Eka Earth Climate Club is a series of three distinct workshops, brought to you in collaboration with SPACE4. The series covers a range of topics from climate change to circular economy to biodiversity, all in a fun and engaging format. All three workshops are inspired by card based games and are built upon participant's collective intelligence while also subtly exploring creativity and emotion linked to the polycrisis the world is facing today.
The workshops run for 3-hours on Saturday mornings from 10 am to 1 pm. It is a completely hands-on experience with no screens or presentations, run in a group of 6-7 participants per table.
September 13th - Climate Fresk Workshop
Climate Fresk helps participants understand the causes and consequences of climate change, including its broader socio-economic challenges. It emphasises the urgency of the climate crisis and equips them to take high-impact actions at individual and collective level. The cards and facts used in the game are backed by IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change).
As of July 2025, more than 2 million people have participated in a Climate Fresk workshop across 162 countries and 45+ languages.
October 25th - Circular Economy Collage Workshop (part of London Circular Economy Week)
As the name suggests, this workshop introduces participants to the principles of the circular economy and its various models. They learn about the challenges of our current take-make-dispose system and what it takes to bring a paradigm shift towards a more closed-loop approach. Participants gain practical insights on maximising the value of goods and services at every stage - before use, during use, and after use, in both personal and professional contexts.
November 8th - Biodiversity Collage
This workshop explores the drivers and impacts of biodiversity loss, drawing on insights from the IPBES (Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services) reports. Participants learn about the vital role of ecosystem services for both communities and businesses, including their influence on global supply chains. They also examine the key drivers of biodiversity loss and confront its urgency and far-reaching consequences for the planet’s stability.
