Event description

Description

A fun and productive afternoon creating ekphrastic fiction - fiction inspired by art.

At the 'Words and Pictures' exhibition by London artist Sue McQueen, Conor will guide and support writers to create short/flash fiction inspired by Sue's art.

The afternoon will begin with a viewing of Sue's work during which writers will select a piece that stimulates their imagination. Participants will go on to draft pieces of short/flash fiction and workshop them in a structured and supportive environment. Having received feedback from tutor and fellow writers, participants will be encouraged to redraft their fiction after the session and will be invited read their work at LWE presents… which will be hosted at the gallery on 25th May.

Sue will be on hand if anyone wants to ask her about her art.
