Alejandro has been Head Winemaker at world-renowned Catena Zapata since 2002, while Adrianna (the legendary Nicolás Catena’s daughter) began her wine journey while sharing a bottle of Château Cheval Blanc with her father. Growing Cabernet Franc is atypical for the region, so they named the winery El Enemigo – meaning "the enemy" – as a nod to defying convention, battling personal demons, and sacrificing much in pursuit of crafting the perfect wine. Their efforts were soon recognised, with several of their wines receiving perfect 100-point scores from leading critics.
