El Porto Festival is being delivered by Youth Fed – a charity based in Ellesmere Port that supports over 5,000 young people between the ages of 10 and 29, through delivering inspiring, fun, and educational activities. Their aim is to ensure all young people have the chance to thrive and achieve their full potential, regardless of background or circumstance.
Youth Fed has been successful in its application to police and crime commissioner John Dwyer’s Community Action Fund to deliver a El Porto Festival to make Ellesmere Port safer.
The funding will allow the Youth Fed to work with partners and the local police team to address community safety issues.
The Community Action Fund has been developed to enable residents and communities to address the issues which matter most to them. The fund enables ideas to be brought to life and gives the community the opportunity to be part of the solution.
