After a summer break El Swing returns with ‘A Journey Through Colombian Salsa’ with Kalima Project. Colombia has long been a Salsa hot spot with classic artists like Grupo Niche, Joe Arroyo, Guayacán Orquesta, Fruko, The Latin Brothers etc and Kalima Project will be paying their loving respects for the classic era and repertoire in Colombian music. Whether or not those names mean anything to you you will know the timeless songs.

We got a taste of what to expect at their Mint Street festival show in July, and their next gig all be with us at The Portico on September 13.

Our Colombian Salsa teacher, Yamile, gets the hips moving with her all-comers Salsa Dance Class from 7.30, followed by the club night.

The DJs (on rotation) are Johnny G, DJ Carey and Gerry Lyseight
