ELDR is the machination of artist and award-winning composer Marina Elderton. Acclaimed by Wonderland Magazine for her “raw and unapologetic approach to tune crafting”, ELDR’s latest EP ‘HÖLY STRANGER’ is no exception, with an infectious energy that evokes both an unsettling of the mind and hypnotic allure. Following her debut EP ‘Defender’, which received the PRS Women Make Music fund, HÖLY STRANGER looks to continue the next vibrant chapter in her broad and ethereal guise.

As a scholar from the National Film & Television School, ELDR has composed soundtracks for the likes of BBC, Sky Arts, BFI, and Film4, including the soundtrack for 'Poly Styrene: I AM A CLICHÉ', which won Best Documentary at the British Independent Film Awards, the ‘Raindance Discovery Award’, and earned a Scottish BAFTA nomination.

The Copenhagen-born, London-based Josephine ‘CHILD’ Carl, also known as CHILD + the banned, draws comparisons to the likes of Kate Bush, Lana Del Rey and FKA Twigs: A young artist tasked with reimagining the contemporary pop scene, who through collaboration with her peers of upcoming creators is imagining ways of giving her music tentacles that reaches outside the realm of digital dreams. Out into the real world.

She recently earned her degree from Goldsmiths University of London, where she met her current band members and started performing at venues around London under the name CHILD + the banned. Calling herself a ‘CHILD’ isn’t coincidental. During her second year at Goldsmiths, a Phoniatrics specialist concluded that Josephine’s voice had not dropped and matured like voices normally do for girls in their teenage years; in fact, her voice was stuck "in puberty", hence the bright, high quality of her sound.
