Event description

Description

How can Electrical Engineers make driving safer? Learn how we can use sensors, digital processing and motor control to follow the vehicle in front at a safe distance and get a real taste of what it’s like to study Electrical Engineering at the University of Greenwich.

If you are currently studying your A Level, BTEC, IB or Access course and are interested in studying Electrical Engineering or a related course at university, then we would love to see you at our Taster Day.

It is difficult to imagine the modern world without the all-pervasive impact of electrical and electronic engineering. All modern communication systems, from simple direct dial connections to global mobile phone networks and even interstellar radio signals are all based on the fundamental principles you will learn on our BEng (Hons) Electrical Engineering.

Come to our Electrical Engineering Taster Day and learn more about this subject area through sample lectures and a practical workshop using sensors, digital processing and motor control to follow the vehicle in front at a safe distance.

This event is for students studying an A-Level, BTEC, IB or Access course and who are interested in applying to study at university.

Booking is essential to secure your place.
