Event description
A workshop looking at primary sources from the University of Leeds Special Collections relating to the history of women in engineering

About this Event

This Heritage Open Day workshop organised by the Electrifying Women project will give participants the chance to learn more about the history of women in engineering through primary sources from the Feminist Archives North. The workshop will be led by Professor Graeme Gooday and Dr Emily Rees. You'll be given the chance to work with primary materials, learning about handling historic objects as well as how to access and use archives. There will be a chance to chat informally and network after the workshop over some refreshments. This is a perfect workshop for anyone with an interest in engineering, women's history or any general curiosity about using archives!
