Electronic in the Tower #10

Electronic in the Tower #10

By TDC Tunes

Overview

Enter a medieval tower for an evening of electronic music and immersive visuals.

Starts 7:00pm St. Mary's Tower, N8 7NT, London

Join us for the 10th edition of Electronic in the Tower, an event that will take you on a journey of eclectic and electric music and visuals.

Joining TDC Tunes this time we have Klaus Bru one of the few saxophonists to exclusively play the rare C-Melody and C-Soprano saxophones! We will also once again have the privilege of mind blowing live projection visuals by 2 Digit Visuals.

TDC Tunes

TDC Tunes uses a modular synthesizer for his completely unique live sets - a custom machine covered with knobs, wires, and flashing lights.

He will be combining elements from his released electronic tracks with improvised modular parts to create a one-off show. Indeed, due to the nature of modular synths it would be impossible to repeat it a second time!

More on TDC Tunes

Klaus Bru exclusively plays the rare C-Melody sax and the even rarer C-soprano sax, often processing them with electronics, much in the way a guitarist would do.

Klaus Bru’s artistic output surprises through its variety, and his musical concepts are not of the “out-of-the-box” type, — he prefers combinations of “boxes” that differ in size, contrast in contents, and clash in colour: He brings in the folk music of the world, avant-garde ridden improv, cold blooded electronic noises and feedbacks, pitches smaller than the distance between two adjacent keys on the piano, strange meters and odd tempos, plus – when the time is right and the mind is ready – sincere, singable melodies made to soothe the heart and the soul..
