About this event
Starts 7:00pm St. Mary's Tower, N8 7NT, London
Join us for the ninth edition of Electronic in the Tower, an event that will take you on a journey of eclectic and electric music and visuals.
Joining TDC Tunes this time are Italian electronic artists AleKtron, Indigo Beats and Little_Foil_Fish as part of there Scosse Elettroniche London tour! So we will have 4 diverse sets of live electronic music and once again we will have mind blowing live projection visuals by 2 Digit Visuals.
TDC Tunes
TDC Tunes uses a modular synthesizer for his completely unique live sets - a custom machine covered with knobs, wires, and flashing lights.
He will be combining elements from his released electronic tracks with improvised modular parts to create a one-off show. Indeed, due to the nature of modular synths it would be impossible to repeat it a second time!
AleKtron offers live a new, contemporary and experimental interpretation of Trip-Hop contaminated by glitch and minimal electronics: Hyper Trip-Hop, as if fusing the electronic depth of Telefon Tel Aviv, FourColors and Tycho with the laid-back vibes of Portishead and Massive Attack. Layered male and female vocals meet hypnotic rhythms and cinematic soundscapes.
The performance will be audio/video that transports you into a parallel and evocative dimension, where the dreamlike power of the images join electronics to build new imagery as the sounds chase each other between the rawness of synthesisers and the warmth of analogue.
His latest projects include “KoZmo“, a collective of musicians and VJs offering concrete/industrial music with highly immersive performances, and a travelling tour called “Scosse Elettroniche“, where emerging musicians perform in a series of monthly evenings.
Little_Foil_Fish is a project born in 2017 out of a desire to break out of the confines
of structure.
Having always played guitar, he began creating and experimenting with tape loops to create dreamy ambient soundscapes. Over the years he has developed his sound by incorporating modular synthesis, vocal improvisation, guitar and anything else that produces a strange and fascinating noise.
Little_Foil_Fish ranges from ambient drones to harsh noise. Still a rocker in the heart and spirit of the Velvet Underground. Each performance is improvised and unique.
Indigo Beats
Remix. Reinterpretation. Dancefloor Revolution.
If there were an imaginary line that starts with the iconic rock of The Beatles, crosses the glam of David Bowie, brushes against the elegance of Mina, and lands in the cheeky pop of Ricchi e Poveri, you’d find Indigo Beats standing right on it. Behind the name are two multi-instrumentalists from Rome — Alessandro “AleKtron” Tomei and Paolo Mastrantoni — who have made sound manipulation their artistic signature.
Origins & Journey
AleKtron and Paolo met at a music high school, but it was in the Roman underground clubs where they sharpened their re-editing craft. After years of home-studio experimentation—among vintage synth racks, DIY pedals, and boutique software—2023 saw the birth of Indigo Beats, driven by the belief that mashups aren’t just a genre, but a poetic rebellion against musical labels.
The Live Experience
Picture stepping into a club where a Beatles guitar riff shatters into a thousand pieces, reforming over a throbbing techno bassline — all while a 4K visual tells the story of sound transforming into image.
The dancehall becomes a collective ritual: danceable, contagious, and unexpected. There’s no setlist carved in stone—only a digital blackboard where improvisation rules and thdesigns eurorack cases.
