Learn the basics of making Electronic music with acclaimed music prodicer and mixer Rob Etherson.

Rob Etherson is a seasoned electronic music producer, mixing engineer, and educator based in Glasgow, Scotland, with over 18 years of industry experience. As one half of the acclaimed duo Mia Dora, he has toured internationally and released music on prominent labels such as Hot Creations, Defected, and Anjunadeep. His remix portfolio includes work for artists like Calvin Harris, Armand Van Helden, and Diana Ross . 

In addition to his production work, Rob is a dedicated educator. He teaches at subSine | Academy of Electronic Music in Glasgow, offering courses like “Mixdown with Robert Etherson & Friends,” where he shares advanced mixing techniques alongside Grammy Award-winning composer David Donaldson . Rob has also delivered lectures and seminars for organizations such as Ableton Live, BBC Scotland, and Soma Records’ annual Soma Skool event .  

His expertise has led to collaborations with renowned artists including Skream, Illyus & Barrientos, Jasper James, and Jackmaster. Rob’s teaching approach is known for breaking down complex concepts into accessible, practical techniques, making him a respected figure in both the studio and the classroom
