[ELEVATE:EYE] Worldbuilding with World Anvil

This workshop is part of the Elevate:Eye programme at the Bank Arts Centre in Eye this autumn. Anyone 14+ who is curious about making games can explore tools & tricks, build a network, and learn how to use games to express themselves over the course of 5 Saturdays – with the support of games industry experts.

During this session, you will learn from Stacey Rezvan, Independent Game Design Tutor.

Together, you will:

• Create your very own ‘lore hub’ for your games
• Store character, setting, and stat block information in one place for easy reference
• Learn how to use World Anvil to engage with communities and promote your game
• Develop your skills in creative writing, character design and plot building
• Gain useful feedback on your ideas

About Elevate:Eye

Elevate:Eye is five-day, fully-funded games development programme from Game Anglia, supported by the Progress Power Community Benefit Fund and Babergh and Mid Suffolk Council.

Open to anyone aged 14+ in Eye and nearby parishes (no upper age limit!), ELEVATE:Eye will help you learn how to tell your story by making a narrative interactive game – no coding experience needed! Participants will get hands-on with game engines, storytelling, design and more, plus the opportunity to work together in a final game jam in early December.
