Please read all the information below before registering.
While we might not be able to have a local CLAPA Christmas party, we can still have lots of fun! Dress up in your Christmas jumpers and Christmas hats (if you wish, Christmas attire is optional) and join us on Sunday 13th December at 3:15pm for a fun, festive adventure as we invite you to our very special 'Elf Training'!
Being an elf is a busy job. There are always presents to make, gifts to wrap and lots of festive cheer which needs to be spread! As you are on the ‘nice’ list, perhaps you can help Santa’s newest elf to learn everything in time for Christmas?
With plenty of singing and games, you may even get to learn some of the elves' favourite dance moves as we race to get everything ready to load the sleigh for Christmas eve!
This event is most suitable for children born with a cleft age 0-5 years and their family members (an adult must be present), but older or younger children born with a cleft and their families are absolutely welcome to join too. If you book and then cannot attend, please let us know ASAP so we can give your space to someone else.
If you have any accessibility requirements, please let us know and we'll do all we can to help your family take part.
Joining the Christmas Party
Places are limited and will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. An adult must be present. We are running two 'Elf Training' virtual parties on the 13th December, one for children aged 0-5 years, and one for children aged 5+ years. Please book your free places for either an 'Elf Training' party on the 13th December, or a Captain Fantastic party on the 9th December, as we want to ensure there are enough places for everyone to attend a virtual Christmas party!
We will email out the Zoom link to join the Christmas Party at least one hour before the party starts. Please check your spam folder if you can't find this link.
We ask that you book a place for everyone who will be attending online, even if you'll be attending using the same device. This helps us keep the event running smoothly and safely, and also helps us to decide what kind of events to organise in the future.
If you have any questions or issues, please contact gillian.mccarthy@clapa.com
Attendance is free and places are limited. If you wish to attend then please register. If you change your mind or your plans change then please cancel your place so we can offer it to someone else. Please do give someone else the opportunity if you can't make it.
How CLAPA Uses Your Data
We collect information you provide on Eventbrite to help us get useful statistics about how many people attend our events, how many of them come back again in the future, what kind of age ranges we support, etc. These statistics are vital to help charities like CLAPA demonstrate the impact of our work, and we use them to report to our funders and other groups to show what a difference their support can make.
On our systems, this information will be attached to your name, but we don't use your name when putting these statistics together, and identifying information is never included in reports. We don’t collect or store more than what we need to help us track these events, and have no access to any financial information you provide to Eventbrite.
We keep everything secure in line with our data protection policies. For more information, see our Privacy Policy.
Unless you ask us to, we won’t sign you up to any mailing lists and will only send you information related to your attendance at this event. If you want to hear about more events like this in the future, sign up to the CLAPA Community.
