Join us for the first Elstree-Con film festival

This event takes place on the 31st August at Allum Manor House & Hall in Borehamwood

Elstree-Con Film Festival will be a mixture of

  • Film & TV Convention

  • Open Air Cinema

  • Carnival

and once again we will be raising money for the National Autistic Society.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Phone email tickets will need ID to be shown
No Minimum age But all children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult
Children 3 and under are Free

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

What's the refund policy?

Sorry all Tickets are non refundable

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Please bring your Printed Ticket or email confirmation (phone email will need ID to be shown)

What can I bring into the event?

No food or drink allow to be brought on site no Dogs (but guide dog are welcome)

Security checks before entering event

All bags will be searched before the entrance

Are Cosplay costumes are welcome on site:

Costumes should be no more than 3ft (90cm) wide and 6ft 5" (192cm) tall, in other words you should fit through a door! If you are taller than this then your costume should be no taller than you! Hats may be worn that make you taller than 6ft 5", but you must be able to remove them easily.

Costumes that feature things like expanding wings can be made larger than 3ft wide, to a maximum of 5ft (150cm) but may only be used as part of the Masquerade.

Costumes must not be constructed with sharp edges or hard (metal, wood etc) spiky or pointy bits. For example, metal armor is allowed but must have properly finished and turned edges.

Think! If your costume could hurt someone if they fell or bumped into you, don't make it!!

All cosplay weapons will need to be tagged before entrance if weapons do not meet with the events guild lines
you will have to leave them at the door.

You can bring cosplay weapons with you But no real bladed weapons or converted guns / blank fire guns

Remember to keep replica weapons well-wrapped and out of sight when you are in public places. You are responsible for transporting props and weapons to be safe and have fun!
