What video-conferencing platform do you use?

All conference sessions will be delivered over Zoom.

If allowed by your organisation, you should download the Zoom client in advance of the session and familiarise yourself with the software. If you do not have the Zoom client installed you can access the session through your web browser.

I can't access the session through my web browser - help!

Accepted Answer

(1) Locate the meeting invite link from Eventbrite, your email or calendar invitation.

(2) Click the join link to join the webinar.

(3) If a pop-up window prompts you to open or install the Zoom desktop client, click Cancel.

(4) At the bottom of the page, click the Join from your Browser link.

What's the difference between a webinar and a workshop?

Accepted Answer

Workshops are designed to be a collaborative event with all participants being able to turn on their video and audio, and see who else is in attendance.

Webinars are designed so that the host and panellists can share their video, audio, and screen. Participants interact through chat and Q&A.

Yes. The session is being recorded and a link to the recording will be shared with participants once the conference has ended.
