EM Workshop - Place Making - East Renfrewshire
Date and time
Description
Place, Place-making and Place-based Approaches
This session will explore the role of place-making and place-based approaches in considering how places are used by people as part of the delivery of public services. The opportunity to use resources, services and assets in an approach that is specific to the location creates a sense of identity and purpose in the places we create that enables better outcomes for communities. The session will introduce the Place Principle adopted by COSLA and Scottish Government to promote more collaborative working and will review the role of Place Standard Tool in effective conversations with communities about their place.
The workshop will be facilitated by Irene Beautyman, Planning for Place Programme Manager, Improvement Service.
