Ensure you have the equipment you need to carry out electronic marking of assessment and are familiar with Abertay's Assessment principles.  

Blackboard assignments are useful for Group assignments, allow plagiarism checking and can be marked online using Inline Grading.   Turnitin Assignments allow plagiarism checking, provide saved comments and offline grading if using the iPad App.

  • When to choose Turnitin or Blackboard assignments for coursework submission 

  • How to create a Blackboard Assignment (including Group Assignments)

  • Grademark using feedback options, Quick Comments, Rubrics, Text summary and Audio

  • Grademark offline via iPad Turnitin App
