Internet-of-things have permeated into our daily lives and significant day-to-day mundane tasks involve a number of embedded and cyber physical systems. Satisfying the requirements for trusted, reliable and secure embedded devices is more vital than ever before. Professor Markantonakis will examine the concepts of security and trust for embedded devices. He will also examine notable use cases and lessons learned from high profile deployments bridging theory and practice. Finally, he will highlight prevention mechanisms along with directions for further research.
