Embedding Employability into the Curriculum

This is a CPD event for Senior Leaders, Teachers and Careers Staff in schools.
It’s your opportunity to engage with business and other schools to manage the promotion of employability within the curriculum to meet the needs of students and employers.
Key Note Speakers Include:
Ofsted – HMI – Adrian Lyons National Lead for Economics Business & Enterprise who will discuss the importance of employability skills in line with the inspection criteria and will provide an update from the National Thematic Survey on Enterprise Employability and Employer Engagement
Gerard Liston –Director of Forum Talent Potential CIC, which manages the “Unlocking Talent & Potential“ programme that helps schools bring classroom learning to life in partnership with employers’
Informed, confident and motivated to take the next steps in embedding employability into the curriculum
Confident in your knowledge of how local labour market information needs to influence the curriculum.
Stimulated by hearing from employers on their industries and the skills they most value in young people.
An appreciation of employers needs and how you can start developing these behaviours and mind-sets.
