About this event

What are themed task & finish working groups?

These are short-term groups that respond to immediate needs where there is a desire to move quickly to address an issue, come up with a solution, co-create a resource, or carry out research. The results will be shared publicly. Topics will arise from peer learning groups. We hope colleagues will be able to attend both sets of sessions (four in total for current groups).

When is it?

15:30 - 17:00 on Tues 18 January, Tues 25 January, 1 March and 8 March 2022.

What will we do:

We will create a practical checklist of things that people need to consider to make their quality systems inclusive.

Ahead of these dates, we will produce videos of inclusive and high quality teaching in conjunction with partners.

The initial two meetings and related work will help us to identify an action research partner to undertake a programme of funded work over the space of a year.

Organiser Changing Tracks

Organiser of Embedding inclusion into music service quality systems - Autumn/Winter term

Changing Tracks is a programme of peer support and learning for and with music services wanting to improve equality, diversity and inclusion. It is run by Hertfordshire Music Service and funded by Youth Music. It was previously called MusicNet East.

We help music services to be more inclusive by providing a peer network facilitated by Music Mark, funding for action research, support and challenge, advice and resources.
