Unlock creative, alternative art ideas that boost confidence, connection, and wellbeing in care settings.
Course Aim:
To expand the creative toolkit of Activity Providers by introducing alternative and accessible forms of art-making that support self-expression, connection and wellbeing.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Recognise the value of alternative and sensory art forms for adults in care
- Explore at least three non-traditional art approaches (e.g. nature art, sound art, collaborative installations)
- Adapt activities to suit a range of physical, sensory or cognitive abilities
- Support confidence and expression over perfection in creative sessions
- Plan a creative activity that focuses on process, not just outcome
Delivery Methods:
- Delivered live by an expert in activity provision, with extensive experience in the care sector
- Includes video demonstrations, breakout sessions, practical tasks, downloadable handouts, and live Q&A
- Fun, engaging, and packed with ready-to-use ideas

As an attendee of the training day you MUST have your camera on during all of the sessions, this is to verify your participation/attendance.
Certificates of attendance will only be issued to attendees who attend for the whole of the session.This course will be delivered via ZOOM and will include, presentations, discussion and reflection, case studies, videos and demonstrations. Please make sure that you are familiar with using ZOOM.
