Description

The “EMBL in the USA: Weekend Symposium” offers a platform to share and celebrate the research and achievements of EMBL alumni in the USA. It is an excellent networking opportunity, attracting EMBL’s community of international life science leaders from America’s outstanding universities and pharma companies.

More than 20 current and former EMBL life scientists and industry leaders will present TED-style talks on the relevance of their work today and lead thought-provoking panel discussions on life science topics and opportunities in the USA and at EMBL.

Additionally the programme includes a personally guided tour of the Genome Marine Biology Institute (next door to the hotel) by the Institute's co-founder on Sunday morning.
