Friday 8 July 2022 from 16:00 - 18:30 hrs (CEST ) at EMBL Heidelberg and Online.
EMBL alumni and staff worldwide are invited to join us on the above link for EMBL World Alumni Day 2022 in-person at EMBL Heidelberg or online from anywhere in the world.
Due to ongoing corona regulations at EMBL Heidelberg, space is limited. When you register, please indicate if you would like to attend in-person. We will let you know if you are allocated a seat or if you have been placed on the waiting list. We apologise for any inconvenience.

16:00-17:30 hrs (CEST) - Alumni Awards Ceremony, EMBL (ATC Klaus Tschira Auditorium in-person and online)
- Recipients: Maria Antonietta Tosches (John Kendrew Award) and Sara A. Courtneidge (Lennart Philipson Award)
- Presenters: Detlev Arendt (John Kendrew Award) and Thomas Graf (Lennart Philipson Award)
- Master of ceremonies: Fátima Gebauer
17:30-18:30 hrs (CEST) - EMBL World Alumni Hour (ATC Klaus Tschira Auditorium in-person and online)
- Shining the spotlight on the EMBL flagship project TREC (Transversing European Coastlines)
- Presented by alumnus Angus Lamond
- Guests include Fátima Gebauer, Paula Bertucci, Josipa Bilic and Agnes Szmolenszky
18:30 onwards (CEST) - EMBL Lab Day drinks & poster session followed by dinner, EMBL Heidelberg (in-person only)
