What is embodied innovation? How can we innovate more effectively, in ways that generate solutions that take our whole humanity into consideration? How can wearable technology play a role in creating healthier individuals and more coherent teams? What are the ways to tap into the renewable energy of people, the single biggest untapped resource in business? How can business be a spiritual journey, expanding our consciousness? What is the role of flow in creating break through innovation? And how can we build systems that incentivise people operating in ways that keep them in innovative states of mind and body?

We'll explore answers to these questions and co-create new understandings through a series of talks, reflections, panel discussions, breakout sessions and experiential exercises of what embodied innovation can be be and how it can change the way you innovate.

Gib Bulloch - Gib Bulloch is an award winning social intrapreneur who consults, writes and speaks on a range of topics relating to the role of business in society. He believes passionately in the power of business to change the world and in the power of the individual to change the world of business.

Suzan Brown - Personally inspired by Steve Jobs to design Ethernet for Apple Computer motherboards in the late 80s, co-founder of RadioMail, the first wireless email solution in the world sold to Google, pioneer of the Internet at WebTV and Microsoft, inventor of numerous world-wide patents paving the way for Internet of Things. Dr Alfred Lohninger - In opposition to mainstream medicine Alfred Lohninger does not focus on fighting against diseases, but research upon health. Over the past 20 years he has succeeded in making people understand what health is, how health can be measured and how health, performance and wellbeing can be improved. He founded the Autonom Health company, where he and his team developed a comprehensive diagnostic-therapeutic concept that is implemented by well-known institutions in the german speaking area. He researches, develops, teaches, writes (text) books, gives lectures and notices how much people benefit from experiencing how easy it is to be healthy and happy.

Gino Yu - Gino Yu is the Director of Digital Entertainment and Game Development and the Founding Head of the Multimedia Innovation Center at Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where he is currently an associate professor. He received his BS and PhD at the University of California at Berkeley and has over 80 conference and journal publications. He also founded the Asia Consciousness Festival and hosted the 2009 edition of the Toward a Science of Consciousness Conference. His main area of research focuses on the application of media technologies to cultivate creativity and promote enlightened consciousness.

Tobias Hofmeister - Tobias is devoted to fostering Deep Connection, exploring peak-performance through heart-brain-coherence using wearable technologies. His journey has taken me from travelling over 30 countries, to earning degrees from four universities, publishing a dozen papers, presenting his research at international conferences and working in some of the world’s leading energy and digital research organisations into the world of tech entrepreneurship, design thinking, strategy, organisational transformation, flow sciences and community.

Phil Geelhoed - Phil is here on this earth to create a beautiful heart-centered connection between consciousness and technology. He does this in a myriad of ways from creating new soul-centered ways of using the internet to developing the first Arabic meditation app. and in the weekends he makes and mixes music with his mobile music studio.

This is Day 1 of a two day event, where day two is an in-person event in Edinburgh exploring Embodied Innovation through Contact Improvisation workshops and performance.
