About this event

Hobbies • Adult

Learn the basics of high and low relief embossing on metal. I will take you through the process from a piece of sheet metal to the finished product. There is no drawing experience required as stencils and traceable pictures will be provided.

Pewter is a pliable, radiant, silvery metal that is easy to engrave or emboss with basic hand-held tools, to create raised designs. The metal then has a patina added to create an aged appearance. The pewter will then be used to cover a notebook and a pen. Colour can be added with inks.

Coffee and tea will be provided.

16 is the minimum age.

What are my parking options for getting to and from the event?

When facing The Old Print Works building, the driveway heading to the studio is on the right hand side. The better option would be to park in Edward Road , opposite as the parking is often full.
