Event description

Description

Caroline Lamont and Great In Great Out invite you to the screening of Embrace, a life changing social impact documentary
that explores the serious issue of negative body image. The documentary tells the story of Taryn Brumfitt’s journey from body loather to body lover.

This powerful documentary uncovers why poor body image has become a global epidemic and what women everywhere can do to have a brighter future.

The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with local health and wellbeing experts:
- Amanda Kerr of Hidden Depths Hypnotherapy
- Kim Saha of Kim Saha Physiotherapy & Pilates
- Le'Nise Brothers of Eat Love Move
and it will be chaired by Olivia Horne of Finding Mama's Happy Place.

It will be an opportunity to understand why women (in particular, but not only) are so negative about their own body image, why "diets" never work and practically what we can do about it (personally and as a community). It's about empowering women to love themselves, their bodies and focus on what matters, finding their own happiness.
