Embrace: The Union Project - Doncaster
Event Information
Description
The Film
The documentary Embrace tells the story of Taryn Brumfitt’s journey from body loather to body lover - an Australian wife and mother who embarks on an international crusade to change the way we think and feel about our bodies.
This powerful documentary uncovers why poor body image has become a global epidemic and what women everywhere can do to have a brighter future.
The UK has one of the lowest levels of body confidence in the world where nine out of 10 British teenage girls are unhappy with their bodies and one third of males would sacrifice a year of their life to achieve the ideal body.
We want to start the conversation in Doncaster to help everyone build their own confidence and begin to understand the power of body positivity.
The film is rated as a 12A and lasts for around 90 mins.
