Embroidered Snowflakes - Plu Eira wedi'u Brodio

Details of session

Kerry has designed 5 different snowflake designs for us and will show you the stitches on the night, you can choose which one to do. The stitches used are straight, French knot, lazy daisy, chain stitch and bullion knot

For each design you will need:

6.5 inch or 16.5 cm square of plain cotton fabric (Aida won’t work for these designs. Old pillow case, sheet, hankie)

4 inch / 10 cm hoop if want to frame them.

Thread in colour of your choice (sashiko or 2 strands of embroidery thread)

Needle

Scissors

Marking tool

Light box / window (to trace designs onto fabric)

How it works:

We will detail any preparation work you need to do, a reminder e mail is sent 2 days before and again 2 hours before the session the session starts. The zoom link will be e mailed by 18:00 on the day of the event.

For those booking outside the UK you need to check for time differences, this session falls in GMT.
