About this event

Arts • Craft

Welcome to Embroidery and Watercolour Landscapes! Join us for a creative morning of stitching and painting at The Old Bell Museum. Let your imagination run wild as you combine the delicate art of embroidery with the vibrant beauty of watercolours. We start by painting a watercolour layer, dry it off and then get on to the detailed matter of stitching- make up your own stitches or be more conventional, I can show you how to do some stitiching if you get stuck! You can be as anstract or realistic as you want- although I do think it's fun to be a little experiemental! If you want to bring fabric scraps or even found objects to add you're welcome to. I provide embroidery threads some mini mixed beads the calico and an embroidery ring you can take home to display your work of art in but do bring anything you'd like to add to it to make it personal and totally unique.

And don't forget some photos or pictures taken from magazines to inspire your beautiful artwork.

This in-person event is the perfect opportunity to learn new skills, meet fellow art enthusiasts, and unleash your artistic flair. Don't miss out on this unique experience!

I can't wait to see what you produce!

Maximum 4 people can attend this session so you'll have lots of individual attention. Bring a mug so you can have a cuppa while you work!

Suitable for older teenagers who enjoy stitching and being creative, and adults.
