Richard was instrumental in the founding of the Euan MacDonald Centre. He convened the first grouping of MND researchers at Edinburgh (‘EdMoND’) and he has been a cornerstone of the Centre ever since. We would very much like to acknowledge his massive contribution and unwavering support to the Centre and the University in general.
