About this event

This EMDR Power Hour is a live webinar for EMDR therapists and will focus on target planning when clients present with complex histories. Learn how to identify clusters and choose target memories. Also, master the float-back technique that can help you uncover touchstone and feeder memories.

Complex cases can feel overwhelming without a clear roadmap, both for you as a therapist and for your client. In this Power Hour, you’ll learn practical strategies for effective target planning so you can bring structure and direction to your EMDR work and more easily make links between current difficulties and past experiences.

This Power Hour will also cover the Float-back Technique, a powerful way to uncover core memories that keep clients stuck. You’ll leave with a clearer framework and practical tools to guide your work with confidence.

This Power Hour will include a live demonstration/ role play, if there is a willing volunteer. Otherwise, Rachel will present a case study.

I offer a range of Power Hours for therapists. These are concise, practical CPD sessions that are designed to help therapists refine their skills in a specific area of therapy. Power Hours are live and also recorded, so that therapists can re-watch the session or catch up at a convenient time if they are unable to attend live. Power Hours present a key skill or strategy and also include a live demonstration, whenever there is a willing volunteer. Previous attendees have valued the focused nature of Power Hours, the ease in which they can be factored into the clinical day and also my no-fluff approach. E.g. "The webinar was informative and the trainer was very knowledgeable and down to earth." ".. loved that the training was brief so easier to fit into work week".
