London, United Kingdom
Where students, aspiring entrepeneurs and sector leaders connect to learn about homegrown social innovation in the capital.
Emerge London brings together homegrown social innovators to address how entrepreneurial approaches can address the most pressing social issues in the capital. The conference connects and engages students, aspiring entrepreneurs and leaders from across the social sector, who will gather to learn from London-based entrepreneurs about how to tackle the most pressing social issues in the capital through innovation and disruption, and to discuss on what’s next to come: the big issues, the big ideas, the big solutions.
With a full programme of keynotes from sector leaders, panel discussions on the most pressing issues affecting the capital, and interative workshops, Emerge London will provide a learning space for anyone that wants to engage with an exciting community of agents for change. The conference is for those who new to the idea of social entrepeneurship and want to learn more about pathways into the sector, individuals who are in the process of setting up a social venture and want to be equipped with skills to make your business more effective, and professionals who are already harnessing the power of business to drive social good in your community.
The event is co-designed and co-organised by Imperial Hub and SOAS Hub, supported by The Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship at Oxford University’s Saïd Business School and Student Hubs, a student-led organisation working in universities across the UK to engage students with social and environmental issues.
