Would you know what to do if someone is bleeding, hurt, injured or suffers a heart attack?

This course will teach you everything you need to know in a First Aid emergency, so no matter how minor the situation is when it happens, there will be nothing stopping you from acting quickly and accordingly.

What is covered in the Emergency First Aid Course?

This course provides basic life-saving first aid skills and knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations, covering:

  • Adult resuscitation (CPR)
  • Burns and scalds
  • Choking adult
  • Communication and casualty care
  • Defibrillator prompts and how to respond
  • Defibrillator pad placement
  • Minor and severe bleeding
  • Role of the first aider (including knowledge of health and safety regulations)
  • Seizures
  • Shock
  • Unresponsive adult

How much is the Emergency First Aid at Work training?

The cost for the day's training is just £87, Which includes an eCertificate and a printed certificate when you have completed the course.

What time does the training start and finish?

The training will start at 9 am, however, please arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to get settled in, enjoy a coffee and complete the registration process. The training will be finished no later than 4.30 pm.

Is there parking available near the centre?

Yes, there is plenty of free off-road parking all around the training centre.

Can I pay in installments?

Yes, using PayPal, you can pay for the course over 3 installments. If you are booking on-site first aid training, this can also be paid in 3 installments.

When do I know if I have passed the training?

We have a 100% pass rate, you will know before you leave the training if you have passed or failed.

What is the age needed to do the training?

Any learners must be at least 14 years old to complete the course and become qualified (we do have courses available for younger learners but these do not include a qualification).

Do you have disabled access?

Our training centre is disabled accessible.

Do you help anyone who may have learning differences?

Yes, our staff are friendly and trained to a very high standard, if they are made aware of any learning differences, they will adapt the training and assessments accordingly.

Do you do group bookings and On-site training?

Do you provide lunch during the training?

No, we do not provide lunch, however, tea, coffee and biscuits are provided during the day. There is a Sainsbury's across the road, a One-Stop Newsagents and various deli's close by.
