Event description

Description

Unfortunately, accidents happen on golf courses, driving ranges, practice areas and people fall ill whilst at the golf club. Our course will equip you to deal with such situations confidently.

Our experienced trainer will deliver this 7 hour Emergency First Aid at Work for Golf training course relevant for all those working, playing and volunteering at a golf club.

The course covers all topics required in the standard Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course plus additional content related to golf. Our courses are very practical and we will use examples and scenarios relating to the golf setting throughout.

By the end of the course you will be able to:

• Recognise and respond to an accident or illness arising at your golf club;

• Confidently manage an accident or illness incident;

• Help your club fulfil its duty of care towards others;

• Undertake a range of key lifesaving first aid procedures including Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
