Emergency First Aid at Work

This HSE approved 1 day course will provide theoretical and practical training in basic life saving first aid. At the end of the course, delegates will be trained to act as an Emergency First Aider in their workplace.

Every employer, even those with fewer than 5 employees, must carry out an assessment of the risk in their workplace and must decide what level of first aid provision they must provide. Issues to consider could include the type of work activities taking place, what possible injuries might occur, the size and layout of the workplace, and the proximity to emergency services. Consideration must also be given to making sure that there is a sufficient number of trained personnel to cover absences such as sickness and annual leave.

All delegates are assessed and on passing, receive a certificate which is valid for 3 years.

The event will finish at approximately 4.30pm and delegates will be offered a light sandwich lunch.
