1-Day Emergency First Aid at Work – Bromley BR2
The Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course provides learners with the essential knowledge and practical skills needed to respond effectively to workplace emergencies.
This qualification meets the requirements outlined in the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982.
Pre-Requisites
- Learners must be 16 years or older.
- It is recommended that participants have Level 2 literacy and numeracy or equivalent.
- Learners must be physically able to demonstrate practical first aid skills, including performing CPR on a casualty positioned on the floor.
This qualification can also be delivered as a Level 3 RQF Award in Emergency First Aid at Work.
Duration
The course includes a minimum of 6 hours of training, typically completed in one day, though shorter sessions can be arranged if required.
Certification Options & Pricing
Upon successful completion, participants will receive either:
- a Standard First Aid Certificate, or
- a Level 3 RQF Certificate (available for an additional £4).
Both options are fully compliant with HSE guidelines.
However, please note that some sporting governing bodies may require the RQF Level 3 EFAW qualification.
The training content is identical for both certificates.
