Emergency First Aid at Work
Overview
Please note this training opportunity is exclusive to LeedsBID levy paying businesses only.
This one-day Emergency First Aid at Work course equips you with essential life-saving skills and the knowledge required to act confidently in an emergency situation.
Throughout the course, you will gain hands-on experience in handling real-life emergency scenarios, covering topics such as:
- Roles and Responsibilities of a First Aider
- Assessing an Incident
- Managing an Unresponsive Casualty
- CPR
- Recovery Position
- Use of an AED (Defibrillator)
- Choking
- Seizures
- Shock
- Wounds and Bleeding
- Minor Injuries
Upon completion, you will receive an Emergency First Aid at Work certificate, valid for three years, allowing you to serve as a designated first aider in low-risk workplaces.
