Emergency First Aid at Work

Emergency First Aid At Work Course (6 Hour) is certified for three years and meets the requirements outlined by the HSE. The course teaches real lifesaving skills that can be used in and out of the workplace.
The training day focuses on a core set of emergency lifesaving skills that can be applied across any working environment. Many of these are practical in nature, with an instructor on hand to demonstrate and allow time for hands on practice.
Learn the skills required to manage a casualty that is unconscious, non-breathing, bleeding, ill or injured, prior to the arrival of the emergency services.The areas covered are:
- Responsibilities of the First Aider
- How to check for breathing
- Assessment of injuries
- Recovery position
- Resuscitation of a non-breathing casualty (CPR)
- Major bleeding and Shock management
- Major illnesses
- Accident Forms
- First Aid Boxes
