Emergency First Aid at Work Training Course

Learn Emergency First Aid at Work one day course with St John Ambulance at Wellspring House, Radcliffe, North Manchester and gain a recognised certificate valid for three years. This one day training course is suitable for paid staff and volunteers in small, low risk workplaces.
We have a small number of places on our Emergency First Aid at Work course, which we are able to offer at a discounted price. Emergency First Aid at Work at Wellspring House is the ideal course for people wishing to gain basic first aid knowledge and skills in a peaceful, friendly and supportive setting. This short training course is suitable for lone workers and nominated first aiders in smaller, low risk working environments.
Led by St John Ambulance our Emergency First Aid Course will cover:
Basic life saving first aid and workplace health and safety regulations, including:
The role of the first aider.
Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations.
Managing an emergency.
Communication and casualty care.
Bleeding (minor and severe)
Resuscitation (adult CPR).
Defibrillator pad placement. Defibrillator promote and how to respond.
Assessment: written assessment and continuous observation by the trainer.
Certification: successful candidates will receive a St John Ambulance certificate valid for three years.
Venue: The training will be held in the seminar room at Wellspring House, 25 Radcliffe New Road, Radcliffe. Wellspring House is a lovely, peaceful venue with pleasant gardens and free on site parking. The cost is £146 per person and includes lunch and refreshments. This price reduces to £117 per person if two or more places are booked at the same time.
