Arts Council England have re-purposed all their investment in response to the Covid-19 crisis to create two emergency funding streams to support both individual artists/creative practitioners/freelancers (awards up to £2,500) and organisations (awards up to £35,000). There are only two rounds for submission, with deadlines on 16th and 30th April.

Metal are working with consultant and fundraiser Rachel Drury to deliver a digital seminar and Q&A session ahead of each funding deadline.
The session, hosted on Zoom, will start at 6pm on Tuesday 14th April and last for 90 minutes. It will offer an overview of the funding strands with practical tips and guidance, in addition to a responsive Q&A session. Attendees are asked to send their questions in advance by 10am, Monday 13th April at latest. These questions will then be compiled and answered during the session. Booking is essential and is via Eventbrite (link here) which will give you access to the Zoom login code and the email address for questions.
Rachel Drury is a creative producer, fundraiser, strategist and co-founder of art/tech company Collusion. For 15 years, Rachel worked at a senior level for Arts Council England contributing to strategic developments and place-making initiatives. Since leaving in 2013, she’s raised in excess of £3m for a range of arts projects.
