Workshop to explore the Emerging Minds research challenges and develop possible collaborations and proposals.

About this Event

The Emerging Minds network would like to invite you to a morning of workshops hosted by Professor Chérie Armour at the School of Psychology, Queen's University, Belfast.

The Research Challenge Workshops follow the Emerging Minds Kick off Meeting taking place on the afternoon before (Wednesday 27 November, 2019).

Emerging Minds is a mental health research network funded by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) with the aim of encouraging research acoss sectors and disciplines. We want to reduce the prevalence of mental health problems amongst children and young people through mental health promotion, prevention and early treatment.

The Emerging Minds network has a fund of £500,000 to share to enable research collaborations. We have prioritised 4 research challenges from the questions that young people, families, practitioners and policy makers have told us are most important and pressing. The purpose of these workshops is to enable participants to further discuss the research challenges and consider how best to address them.

All refreshments and lunch are included. Registration is free.

Please contact Emily Lloyd at info@emergingminds.org.uk if you have any questions.
