Description

Come and join author Emily Dodd as she launches Ollie and the Otter, her latest book that brings the animals of the Scottish Highlands to life.

Following the success of Can't-Dance-Cameron and The Grouse and the Mouse, Ollie and the Otter promises to be a brilliant and engaging story full of fun sounds, with heart-warming illustrations by Kirsteen Harris-Jones.

This is an event for all the family. Drinks and light refreshments will be provided.

Books will be available for sale and signing.

About Ollie and the Otter

Ollie the osprey loves catching fish but he's useless at throwing them! And if he can't throw a fish to Isla, she'll never become his friend. Can Rory the otter help? A fun book about the loveable birds and animals of the Scottish Highlands.

About Emily Dodd

Emily Dodd loves science and wildlife. She is the author of three picture books including Can’t-Dance-Cameron and The Grouse and the Mouse and five non-fiction science books. She has written science shows, workshops and stories for the Scottish Seabird Centre, Edinburgh International Science Festival, the National Museum of Scotland and Our Dynamic Earth, and is a screenwriter for CBeebies science show Nina and the Neurons. Emily was the 2012/2013 Scottish Book Trust Reader in Residence at Leith Library.
