Event description
We invite you to The Gallery for a handling session as part of Emily Kidson's exhibition Constructing in Colour.

About this Event

Emily Kidson creates contemporary jewellery that combines bold materials and colours with traditional craftsmanship. Silver, gold, wood inlay and hand painted details feature in her work alongside colourful laminate components. Emily makes every shape and component by hand in her London studio, and each piece is the culmination of an immersive creative process. She is drawn to areas of fine detail; pattern, repetition and mark making, but also the clear uncluttered spaces around them, and she makes work which strives to find a balance between the two.

This is a free but ticketed event so please book your place. Due to the popularity of our events, places are limited to one per person.

While this is a free event, The Scottish Gallery is supporting MND Scotland and we would be most grateful for a minimum donation of £5 towards this charity. Please click here to visit our Just Giving page, alternatively there will be an opportunity to donate on the day. MND Scotland Charity Number SC002662.
